The latest release notes for the connector can be found on the Dodeca PBCS/EPM Connector section of the Applied OLAP documentation site. This bug fix release resolves some issues with ad hoc operations such as when zooming in and using suppress missing, and when the navigate without data option is turned on. Overall retrieve performance was significantly improved in the 1.7 line due to being able to use the suppress missing option when making the “export data slice” call to the Oracle EPM Cloud REST API, resulting generally in smaller retrieves.
The 1.7 series of the Dodeca EPM Connector has seen significant improvements in performance and features, with many customers reporting that they are able to simply change the connection of their Dodeca views to point to EPM Cloud instead of Essbase and not having to make any other changes to their view, template, or selectors in order for it to work with EPM Cloud.
This release is available now from the Applied OLAP Downloads site.
